Do you have a famous voice?  want one?

Or, are you trying to become a voice actor?  Perhaps you are looking for voice work, or are looking for information about the world of voice overs to help you break in to the business.  If this is true for you, then i have good news!  And bad news too.  which do you want first?

The Bad News First...

i always start with the bad news.  it's good to get it out of the way.  So, i hate to break it to you, but the fast-paced and ever-changing world of voice overs is extremely competitive.  In many ways its a lot like the music industry.  You see, not long ago, it became very easy to get into the recording game.  Because computers brought down the cost of recording equipment, so now any diingus can have a "recording studio" in his home.  That's why it seems like everyone and their dog has a studio in their home, because they do.  Closets become booths, spare rooms become control rooms and suddenly everyone is getting rich in their jammies! But like many things in life, just because everyone can do something, does not mean everyone should do somethign.  Without question, not everyone will make their living this way. But the playing field is more level than ever before, thanks to the internet, so there is a ton of competition.  Its mind-boggling to think about.  Also depressing. and i try not to think about it too much.  I mean, i'm i do VO and Music, so i'll be ok, right?  we all gotta eat.

...You said there's Good News?

Yes!  there is good news.  The good news is that thanks to my dad, i have been doing VO work since i could talk.  i have a deep understanding of how this business works.  Its in my blood.  its in my DNA.

You need only a couple of things to begin acquiring work as a voice actor.
1. Acting chops.  This is a form of acting right? So attend a workshop or get some training on how to act.  I could teach you, but I dont wanna, and I dont offer classes, but I know a guy! My long-time friend Chris from the Actor Factory in Norman does.  He's a real-life Hollywood actor, and a busy casting director, so approach him respectfully and with caution.
Let's assume you have the chops. (I mean, you're great, right?)  the next thing you are going to need is a high-quality demo.  This is exactly how i can help.  the demos i produce for people are top-shelf.  And truth be told, the demos i produce are also highly effective in helping the actor to procure work.  Yes, my demos work.  The reason for this is simple....and i'll tell you about it later.  The best way for you to learn my trade secrets is to hire me to produce your voice demo.  There's more info about all that business right here.
